Live With Orphan [CD]

Tom Rush – Live With Orphan [CD]

A 1974 live recording of Tom Rush with the band Orphan, and top-tier folk-rock from start to finish. Rush makes other writers' songs his own with his warm, expressive baritone, working through gems by Lee Clayton, Guy Clark, David Wiffen and Murray McLauchlan, from "Ladies Love Outlaws" and "Desperados Waiting for the Train" to "Drivin' Wheel", alongside his own "No Regrets".

Eric Lilljequist's bright, ringing Telecaster is a standout throughout. CD in a digifile sleeve.
