The Jobim Songbook in New York [180g LP]

David Hazeltine - The Jobim Songbook in New York [180g LP]

David Hazeltine's Jobim Songbook in New York recasts bossa nova standards for a swinging piano trio with Nat Reeves and Joe Farnsworth.

Originally recorded for Chesky, the trio approaches Antônio Carlos Jobim's songs through swing and modern jazz phrasing. This Chesky Original Masters edition is pressed on 180g vinyl using a one-step process; the LP selection includes Meditation, Wave and The Girl from Ipanema.
