Premiere release of Vince Guaraldi's soundtrack for the 1974 Peanuts special "It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown," the 11th Peanuts special Guaraldi scored. The complete score is presented here for the first time ever on vinyl, alongside four bonus tracks from the original sessions and two additional jazz standards featuring Ron McClure on bass. The quartet features Seward McCain on bass, Mike Clark and Eliot Zigmund on drums, and Tom Harrell on trumpet.

Released to mark 75 years since Guaraldi began his professional music career, the LP was mixed by Terry Carleton at Bones and Knives Studio and restored and mastered by Vinson Hudson. It includes a 4-page insert with art from the special and liner notes by Sean & Jason Mendelson and Derrick Bang, author of "Vince Guaraldi at the Piano" — plus an exclusive magnifying glass to help solve some of the mysteries hidden in the release.
