Against the backdrop of the disco music boom of the time, "Spinach Power" was a disco rock band that released seven singles and three albums between 1978 and 1981. The album being reissued here, "IN and OUT," is the band's third album, originally released in September 1980. The lineup for this album featured Shuichi Teranishi (vocals), Tetsuya Nomura (lead guitar, chorus), Shion Morishita (acoustic guitar, chorus), Susumu Nakaji (steel guitar, chorus), Shingo Haruyama (bass), and Mamoru Kimura (drums).
