Sandusky, Ohio is no place for goths. Stevie Nicks superfans Gypsy Vale (Sara Rue) and her best friend Clive Webb (Birkett Turton) are the town's resident misfits, so when they hear about a "Night of 1000 Stevies" at a New York City club, they hit the road hoping Gypsy will finally get her moment on stage. Along the way they cross paths with fellow outsiders, including the great Karen Black as a faded lounge singer and John Doe of the legendary punk band X.

For its 25th anniversary, Todd Stephens has reimagined his queer cult road movie as an all-new Director's Cut, restored in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative. It adds more than 40 minutes of never-before-seen footage and an expanded goth soundtrack featuring The Cure, Ministry, Cocteau Twins, Clan of Xymox and Echo & the Bunnymen.
