Caunedo – Guaguanrock (Le Spam Mix) b/w Bokolo [7"]

Guaguanrock receives a new mix from Andrew “DJ Le Spam” Yeomanson, working from the original multitrack tapes of Caunedo’s 1975 Fire & Sugar sessions. An extended introduction and foregrounded percussion sharpen the track’s dancefloor movement. Bokolo completes the seven-inch, connecting Afro-Cuban rhythm, brass and jazz-funk through Jesús “La Grulla” Caunedo’s instrumental writing.

Genre: Latin Jazz, Jazz-Funk, Funk.
