At some point, emotronica artist saoirse dream forgot how it felt for things to get better. She became accustomed to the slow decline, the societal backsliding, and tipped headfirst into the apocalyptic patterns of thought that plague her generation. Taking an archivist’s approach to the end of the world, saoirse dream’s upcoming LP grimdark leans into a strikingly grittier sonic palette.
