Firewater [2LP + CD]

Silkworm - Firewater [2LP + CD]

Silkworm's ambitious 1996 Matador debut, recorded by Steve Albini after the band became a trio, is available on 2LP. A bonus CD adds nearly 20 minutes of extra material, some never heard before, including an alternate take of "Don't Make Plans This Friday" with its original lyrics.

Both records come in full-color sleeves featuring Hiroshi Kimura's paintings, with a download card. Stephen Malkmus calls it "Montana Bar Rock of the highest order!"
