Doin' It!!!! [Blue Vinyl LP]

The Equatics - Doin' It!!!! [Blue Vinyl LP]

Recorded when the band's average age was seventeen, The Equatics' only album is a rare thing: a high school group making world-weary, grown-folks soul, inspired as much by Bill Withers as by Isaac Hayes.

Beat-heavy ballads like Leo Davis's "Merry Go Round" sit alongside versions of "Walk On By" and "Ain't No Sunshine." Licensed from bandleader Benjamin Crawford and back in print on blue vinyl.
