Carl Perkins - Dance Album of Carl Perkins [Mono Hybrid SACD]

Dance Album of Carl Perkins collects the rockabilly singer and guitarist's Sun Records recordings, originally released as an album in 1957. Songs include “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Honey Don't,” “Matchbox” and “Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby.” For this mono hybrid SACD edition, Intervention Records and Sun selected tape sources with the archive team at Iron Mountain. Kevin Gray mastered the original album material; Gus Skinas prepared the DSD files and mastered the extra tracks using Gray's notes. The restored artwork was prepared by Tom Vadakan. The hybrid disc includes a standard CD layer.

Edition: Mono Hybrid SACD.
