Cru - Duetto Quasi Solo [CD]

Claudio Da Silva – Cru - Duetto Quasi Solo [CD]

Cru is a musical project conceived and composed by Claudio Da Silva, built on a purely acoustic and deliberately unpolished soundscape. The album explores the idea of rawness in all its dimensions, from the brutality and primal origins of the human condition to the fragile balance from which beauty emerges.

Da Silva's writing blends twelve-tone techniques with European, Arab and Mediterranean musical roots, and folds in unexpected sounds, like water droplets sizzling on a red-hot plate, alongside spoken word. Released on CD by the Italian new-music label Stradivarius.

Genre: Avant-Garde, Classical, Contemporary Classical, Experimental.
