Country Club [Indie Exclusive Clear Orange Smoke Vinyl]

John Doe & The Sadies - Country Club [Indie Exclusive Clear Orange Smoke Vinyl]

Country Club pairs John Doe of X and The Knitters with Canadian band The Sadies on a set of country songs, first released by Yep Roc in 2009. Alongside songs associated with Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette and Roger Miller are four originals - three by The Sadies and one by Doe and Exene Cervenka - with Dallas and Travis Good on guitars and the rhythm section of Mike Belitsky and Sean Dean.

Out of print for some years, it returns here as an indie-exclusive pressing on clear orange smoke vinyl.
