Chet: The Lyrical Trumpet of Chet Baker [180g Red Vinyl LP]

Chet Baker - Chet: The Lyrical Trumpet of Chet Baker [180g Red Vinyl LP]

Chet: The Lyrical Trumpet of Chet Baker was recorded for Riverside in late 1958 and early 1959. It placed Baker's ballad playing in an unusual setting alongside Bill Evans (in his first sessions with the trumpeter), Herbie Mann, Pepper Adams and Kenny Burrell, on standards such as "Alone Together", "It Never Entered My Mind" and "How High the Moon".

This Spanish import from Jazz Images is due on 180-gram red vinyl. It presents the complete original album plus two bonus tracks, "I Talk to the Trees" and "Thank Heaven for Little Girls", with cover photography by Bob Willoughby.
