Boston hardcore/post-punk outfit Burn Kit pay respect to one of their biggest influences: Negative Approach. The "Check It Out" E.P. contains 5 covers from the 1980's Detroit punk veterans. Burn Kit stays true to the Negative Approach sound by keeping the production simplistic, raw and authentic. This record was recorded completely analog straight to tape by Alex Garcia-Rivera of American Nightmare, at his Mystic Valley Recording Studio. Clocking in at just short of 6 and a half minutes, the whole release plays on both sides of the record - so short that you don't even have to flip it over to finish it. 10" black vinyl with deluxe gatefold jacket. 250 copies pressed.
