Carsten Meinert - Carsten Meinert / C.M. MusicTrain [LP]

Saxophonist and keyboardist Carsten Meinert was a driving force in Danish creative jazz, yet only two albums appeared under his own name in his lifetime, To You and 1970's C.M. MusicTrain. This LP gathers previously unreleased Meinert recordings from that era, mixing tradition and radical invention, with a take on Coltrane's "Naima" and Ole Matthiessen's "Brother Yusef" among the tracks.

On vinyl LP from Formalibera, with notes by Mats Gustafsson.
