When podcasters Mayfield & Belov approached Will to commission music for "Camp Here & There" during the pandemic, the show had not yet been recorded. To make things even more challenging, Wood had never composed a score before. With the creative direction of M&B and newfound skills Wood would later employ on "In case I make it," the soundtrack eventually came to be, also spawning original songs.
