Bridges Not Walls [CD]

Billy Bragg - Bridges Not Walls [CD]

Bridges Not Walls is a six-track EP by Billy Bragg, first released in 2017. The songs were originally issued one at a time as Bragg responded to a fast-moving political climate, including the Brexit referendum and Donald Trump's election campaign.

Tracks include 'Full English Brexit' and 'The Sleep of Reason', whose title echoes Goya's etching The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters, alongside a cover of Anaïs Mitchell's 'Why We Build the Wall'. Throughout, Bragg argues for empathy and reason against nationalism.

This edition is a CD in a softpak sleeve.
