Autostop Rosso Sangue (Hitch-Hike) [CD]

Ennio Morricone - Autostop Rosso Sangue (Hitch-Hike) [CD]

This is Ennio Morricone's score for Autostop Rosso Sangue, the 1977 Italian thriller released in English as Hitch-Hike. Franco Nero and Corinne Cléry star as a couple on a road trip whose hitchhiker, played by David Hess, turns out to be a violent fugitive.

The original LP came out in a numbered run of just 500 copies, which made the score a sought-after rarity for decades. The music sets a mournful, guitar-led main theme against tense, abrasive suspense writing, along with the English-language song "Sunshine" sung by I Gladrags. This reissue comes from the CAM Sugar archive in Italy.

This edition comes on CD in a digipak.
