Van Morrison — Astral Weeks [180g 45 RPM 2LP]

Van Morrison's Astral Weeks combines fluid vocal phrasing with folk writing and jazz-informed accompaniment. The 1968 album moves through reflective songs including Madame George, Sweet Thing and the title track. Part of the Acoustic Sounds 40 series, this Analogue Productions edition was mastered by Matthew Lutthans from a flat 24-bit/192 kHz digital transfer of the original tape through The Mastering Lab’s analog tube system and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at 45 RPM by Quality Record Pressings. It includes a Stoughton tip-on gatefold jacket.
