Greg Freeman had barely finished his breakout album Burnover — released to wide critical praise, landing on The New York Times' Best Albums of 2025 list, and earning Pitchfork's Best New Album distinction — when he started writing his follow-up, All Set The Bone.

Embracing friction instead of avoiding it, he wrote the record fast, on scant rehearsal time and urgent, self-imposed deadlines, then tracked it quickly in a real Hollywood studio with one of rock's best modern architects, John Congleton. This 13-song double LP comes housed in a gatefold with a special belly band — available on classic black vinyl, or on coke bottle clear vinyl exclusive to indie retail.
