A Chance For Hope [LP]

Live Band - A Chance For Hope [LP]

Collectors digging through late-'70s and early-'80s records found a sound that kept soul alive through the disco and rap years: soul boogie. Live Band's A Chance For Hope, recorded in Houston and Brooklyn, is a fine example, pairing the warmth of soul and funk with dancefloor rhythms and the new studio technology of the era on cuts like 'Strut Your Stuff' and 'Serious Situation'.

Tuff City's first soul boogie reissue, pressed on 12-inch black vinyl LP for crate diggers and rare-groove collectors.
