Another Year is Brother Bird's most expansive and resonant work to date, blending the melodic hooks of The Cranberries, the shoegaze textures of Mazzy Star, and the intimate songwriting of Big Thief. Themes of longing, self-doubt, and resilience run through tracks like "i'm sorry," "something better," and "quitter," balancing raw honesty with wry humor.

Produced with Owen Lewis, the album follows her debut gardens (co-produced with Andy Hull and Robert McDowell of Manchester Orchestra). With Another Year, Brother Bird has cemented herself as one of indie rock's most vital new voices.
