Dark Skies is the sophomore effort from Austin based Shred DIrt quintet, Memphis Kee. This album from the country leaning rockers is a tonal shift away from their acclaimed debut record, Wimberley as well as the previous I EP and their more light-hearted story songs, featuring a deep look at the full human experience - the good, the bad, and the ugly. The musical range is greatly expanded as well and they showcase some new instrumentation and three-part vocal harmonies. The highlight track is a co-written duet with the "Queen of Red DIrt" Jamie Lin Wilson on "Bewitched".
