In 2025, celebrating their 15th anniversary, the hip-hop band "AFRO PARKER" releases their first full-length album in four years, "Listen," now available on vinyl.

In addition to tracks released as singles since 2021, the album features two brand-new songs for a total of 10 tracks. Lyricists Yanosuke and wakathug focus not on grand dreams or despair, but on the emotions too subtle to put into words and the unseen moments of daily life that truly take center stage here. Feelings of anxiety, prayer, humor, memory, and shyness—these unnamed emotions are carefully woven into intricate rhymes and rhythms.

The lead track "Listen," recorded with AFRO PARKER’s signature band sound, introspectively explores impulses caught between self-awareness and expression. "Play Out Stay Out" bursts with cosmic humor as escape and freedom collide. "Nettai Gyo" captures the stillness of a summer night with an intimate, conversational tone. And in songs like "Ghost," "Asahi ni Tokeru Made," and "Kaerou," the final stretch of the album reflects on loss, overlapping moments, and fleeting connections.

This album offers no flashy declarations or simple answers—only the voices of humans living day by day, sometimes absurd, sometimes earnest. If you listen closely, you may find moments that resonate with your own story.
