With “Ingen Skånsel”, 2024 saw the triumphant return of KOLDBRANN. After sweeping away all competition, the album was awarded the Norwegian Grammy Award (spellemannsprisen) for best Metal album. In celecration of this, and the album’s one year anniversary, we announce this picture disc edition, limited to 300 copies. Housed in a die-cut sleeve, including insert with lyrics and translations. “Ingen Skånsel” is KOLDBRANN’s fourth album, and their first full-length since 2013’s “Vertigo”, following the 2023 EP “Den 6. Massedød (Manna fra en annen himmel)”. Even though deeply rooted in the True Norwegian Black Metal tradition, Koldbrann has carved out their own sound within the genre confines and it sounds fresh, raw and different. There’s a fierce nerve running through the album, and the songs stand out from today’s typical black metal sounds.
