Deafheaven - At Work In The Fields Of The Bomb [CD EP]

Deafheaven surprise-released At Work In The Fields Of The Bomb, a three-song EP recorded with producer Arthur Rizk and led by opening track "Hunter," which comes with a short film made by the band's George Clarke with director Nico Poalillo and Pulse Films.

The EP borrows its title and concept from Robert Del Tredici's photo book documenting the ordinary places and people behind the production of nuclear weapons, exploring the unsettling contrast between unimaginable consequences and the mundane choices and systems that make such destruction possible.

It follows Deafheaven's acclaimed 2025 album Lonely People With Power, their Roadrunner Records debut, which landed on best-of-2025 lists from Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Revolver, Decibel and more.

Genre: Blackgaze, Metal, Post-rock, Shoegaze.
