Owsley Stanley drew on these shows for Bear's Choice, yet enough strong material was left to make this one of the great Dead live albums. The crown jewel is a legendary 'Dark Star', with 'China Cat Sunflower' into 'I Know You Rider', 'Turn On Your Love Light' and a rare 'Mason's Children' adding to the party.

Freshly mastered by Jeffrey Norman, lacquers cut at Well Made Music and pressed on six 180-gram black LPs.
