The trio recorded it at Unisound Studios in the winter of 1995. Dan Swanö contributed keyboards and helped create the album's cold, wintry atmosphere. The songs pair razor-sharp tremolo melodies with mournful, majestic passages, from 'Our Dawn of Glory' to the closing epic 'Wings of Sorrow'.

The band disappeared for years after its release, and the album grew into a cult classic.
